Overview of the pathology
Greater trochanteric pain syndrome (GTPS) is a common clinical problem, with a prevalence of 4.22 out of 1000 people per -year and an incidence rate of 3.29/1000 people/-year [1]. GTPS, involves greater trochanteric and peritrochanteric hip pain. It significantly affects the quality of life, the ability to perform full-time work and engage in daily activities is severely limited [1-3].
